Celebration [picture]. [between 1895 and 1910?]

A group of people, dressed in their finery, attend a celebration for, perhaps, the dedication of a new building at the Colorado School of Mines, in Golden, Colorado. The people's backs are visible as they gaze toward the center of attention, which is a pole of some kind, held up with guy wires. Many ladies hold umbrellas, as parasols, and signs of construction are visible in the foreground. A few buildings of the School of Mines campus can be glimpsed to the east.
